Our friends recommended Simon to us after the great experience theyd had with him for their house extension, and I would 100% recommend him too. He is professional, extremely experienced and knowledgeable, offers advice and suggestions but also listened and understood what we were looking for with our extension. The whole process from the initial phone call with Simon to getting our planning permission approved by the council was very smooth and Simon kept us informed on each step, which was fantastic.

Wes was very helpful from the first call, when we asked about extension possibilities for a house we planned to buy. When we were ready to go ahead Wes gave us very clear costs and timescales and produced some great designs that were practical with creative touches that we hadnt considered. He handled planning and building regs. with great efficiency and always replied very quickly to calls and emails. No regrets at all about using Design Solutions, and Wes would be our first call if we need an architect in future.

I was recommended to Design Solutions Architecture Ltd. and within minutes of meeting Simon, my partner and I knew we were in good hands. Simon advised my partner and I of work he had done in the local area so we had real time references for his work, and of course I went and had a nosey, who wouldn't?! His work was first class and viewing the final project up close and personal was really beneficial and reassuring for us. When we received the working drawings on A1 we were blown away, they looked absolutely incredible and when we've shown trades the drawings either on PDF via an iPhone or hard copy, they've always received the wow factor - And that's all Simon's work, I'm taking no credit at all. Simon talked us through each stage of the process clearly and methodically, telling us how he wanted us to work with him to make the process more streamlined and how best to reduce any delays. Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council's planning department were quite slow with their internal processes and that was disappointment, but there was nothing Simon could do, although he did write to them on our behalf to give them a polite nudge on a couple of occasions, which clearly did the trick and we got the desired outcome. Simon is more like a mate when he calls now and it's important he should know that the kettle is always on should he want to pop by for a chat. We both found him great company and yet very professional, in a nutshell I would highly recommend his company and their services to anyone looking for professional architectural services - Design Solutions Architecture are a first class company.

I was referred to Simon Oates after an online enquiry and Im so pleased with his personal, friendly and professional assistance in drawing up plans for my proposed ground floor extension. He invited me on site to other projects so that I could see and understand the technicalities of my project, and introduced me to the builder and kitchen designer making this a one-stop project without having to search high and low for other suppliers. Regular contact is good service and makes you feel reassured! I can highly recommend the services of Simon & Design Solutions Architecture Ltd.
