A very bad experience and as a result I will not be attending this car boot again so they have lost a customer as a result of their actions. Today it started raining just after we set up but around 8 am the "farmer" drove around in his pickup with his "assistant" getting as much money as he could from those honest enough to hand it over (myself included) others I found out later had declined paying because they "hadn't sold anything" and others only paid 4 instead of 8. I asked him later about this and he refused to give me any money back, needless to say most people left by 8.30, myself included. It should be noted that normally they collect the monies when the boot is in full swing 9.30 to 10.30 and give you a receipt ticket (nothing today) but the "farmer" was obviously wanting to get as much money as he could and tough luck on the booters. Good luck to him, I hope the money makes him happy .
