We stayed at Gore cottage in August 2018 and had a really special week, feeling as if we had stepped back in time. My daughter was mortified when she learned that there would be no internet. It was in fact the best thing that could have happened. We played cards, walked and read several of the many wonderful books that were abundant there. The cottage is nestled in the prettiest of gardens. Our two dogs were fascinated by the sheep that grazed in the adjacent field and loved the walks through the undulating hills and coastal routes as much as we did. The local pubs provided a great choice of tasty foods, excellent cider and friendly company. We would love to return to the area and wouldnt hesitate to choose Gore cottage again.
