Turnpike Farm

Stayed here a good couple times over the last few years and I cant recommend enough. Lovely campsite, has everything you need from electric hook up and water supply to a very clean onsite toilet and a washing machine and tumble dryer. Site owner is one of the kindest and helpful men you could ever meet. Great for a stay on your own or to take your family away. Short walk from the town centre and a lovely pub just down the road. 5

We have always stayed here on the way to Old Warden, Simon the owner is a really nice person and lives with his wife and family in the farmhouse, we have a caravan, but the site is basic with just one loo, but has recyclable bins and water point, and electric hook ups. It's very secure now and is only accessible via the camera at the main gate. The field has mown grass where you hook up to the electric points, but also have rough ground for conservation. They are very helpful and very welcoming and would do anything to make your stay more pleasant. I would highly recommend you stay there.
