The ARTea Room

We visit the ARTea room very frequently and have always received excellent service and delicious food. However one of our friends decided on the 'fish and chips' today and was very disappointed. The fish was very dry and it was overcooked, the batter looked dark brown rather than the golden brown colour you have come to expect with fish. I will say though that the staff could not do enough, they apologised profusely and did not charge for the meal at all. Come on Boss, YOU need to change your supplier of fish as all of the other food is delicious. I am giving 3 stars to the staff, (we would give 5 to the staff but it would give an incorrect reading) NOT the Fish though that would receive NO stars at all - Sorry

Lovely afternoon tea with tasty treats and loads of loose leaf teas to try which was fun - they were bottomless so we tried 4. Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp in one of the doors and door pretty wide. Can't access craft displays upstairs but plenty on show downstairs.
