I'm impressed with the quality of the solar panels, Invertor and batteries. The fitters used their initiative and brought the correct fitting system. The initial electricians did not think about the appearance of the wires they fitted. However, this was rectified b y the senior engineer. All the problems could have been avoided if someone at the company had an oversight of the work for our house.

There had been a misunderstanding in the specification for the installation which we only discovered when the installation team arrived. The onsite engineer (James) was able to sort out the problem, get hold of additional hardware by re-jigging the rest of their day and sorted the installation within the originally agreed time scale . This saved me from having to arrange an additional visit and quite a lot of hassle sorting out the mistake (which was mine).

Installation happened in October but took around a month to complete due to parts not being in stock. They installed a pannel with damaged glass and im sure they would have left it there if I didn't check. Very poor communication from the point your deposit is paid. The installers didn't really explain how to use the system, they just seemed in a rush. A few days a go my batteries started beeping and flashing. Couldn't get through to the company by phone and no one has replied to my email. I ended up following the manual as you can't have loud beeping with children in the house. No aftercare, avoid this company, there are more professional solar companies.

the process of getting a survey of our roof prior to installation took quite a long time, but once this was done the Solar Bureau provided a very comprehensive quote and were able to talk us through the numerous question we had about it. Once we agreed to proceed with the installation there was a ca 3 month wait for the work to begin. Once we had an installation date, everything proceeded in short order. The scaffolders were great, the installers also. Everyone very good humoured and efficient. Our very large installation was completed within 2 days - the installers came up with some very ingenious strategies to hide the substantial amount of cabling needed to transfer the power from the roof to our junction box. We have had the system working for ca 3 weeks it seems to be working very well (we are awaiting the installation of a Smart meter -- so we can't know exactly yet how efficiently or sell any surplus back to thegrid -- but that will be resolved), The system seems to have reduced our consumption form the grid by 50% in less than a month. So the news is encouraging. we need to do some further research around how to be st use the app (soliscloud) needed to the monitor yield and manage consumption but it seems again to be working very well. At this early stage I am pleasantly surprised by how well it's working and how straightforward the installation has been.

Just had our solar panel installation. I have to say that I have been incredibly impressed by The Solar Bureau. At every stage of the process I have been kept fully informed, with all deadlines being achieved. Communication, both by emails and update calls has been excellent and I now look forward to the system giving me years of reduced energy bolls !
