I recently received my renewal invite for multiple flat buildings insurance with this company. Remarkably it included a 25 administration fee, it would appear I have to pay their admin costs in order to be a customer. Furthermore the renewal quote was in excess of 25% more expensive than any other quote I managed to find. This was explained in the renewal documentation as directly due to COVID. For example, potential extended scaffolding costs as workers stayed within government guidelines absolute nonsense. I would urge extreme caution using this company, goodness knows how theyll behave in the event of a claim and what spurious charges theyll come up with if they believe this is an appropriate way to treat customers.

1st sure staff secured for us, as leaseholders in a Management Company, a very competitive premium. In particular, Lauren our contact at 1st Sure, worked on our behalf in a very professional, informed and helpful manner. Other staff we came into contact with in her office were great too, keeping us abreast of progress on the quotation from their computer records. In summary, we have found staff at 1st Sure to be professional, responsive, friendly and efficient.

I've worked with 1st Sure and parent company Midway Insurance for around a decade as a managing agent. Before or since I met 1st Sure's Paul Robertson, I haven't come across a buildings insurance broker with more knowledge, flexibility and frankly fit for purpose. Ensuring our clients and all leaseholders were fully protected by the 1st Sure bespoke policy wording gave me and my fellow directors peace of mind that we were doing the right thing by our customers. 5 star service from advice and procurement to claims processing and renewals. Can't recommend 1st Sure and Midway more highly.
