Superdrug

Great store. Nice size, nice staff. Agree that music can be a little much whilst trying to browse. Good selection of products and deals. Especially will Black Friday and Christmas.

I cannot recommend going to this store. I used to go to this store because it was the only Superdrug that was convenient for me to get to and always had the products that I use in stock, but the staff are very weird and borderline disrespectful. I'm a trans woman and every time I've gone in there I always got incredibly weird looks and stares from the staff, as if I was an alien or something, especially from the person who I believe is the store manager (the blonde, slightly older person) - it was always an uncomfortable experience for me. As a trans woman, I've always tried to keep speaking to a minimum as even daring to open my mouth will usually result in me getting called/referred to as a man, which is incredibly distressing. The one time I felt comfortable enough to have an actual conversation with some of the staff whilst at the checkout, they called me a man. And this was after work, so I was wearing my work uniform, which had my pronouns *clearly visible* on a badge on my chest. Because of this experience and the history of uncomfortable staring I stopped going to this store and have resorted to having to pay a premium to order everything online.
