I have used Skore for the last two years to document customer journeys. Having tried a few other systems, Im very happy to use Skore because it provides a great balance between a structured notation and speed of use. I can map as fast as we can discuss something which puts to an end having to scribble notes to decipher to turn into a map later. Furthermore, the information you put into those little boxes (RACI etc) actually does something, allowing you to produce reports that can help inform your business. Skore continue to add to the feature set with the ability to capture the time and cost of processes too. The resulting diagrams need virtually no explanation, which opens up process mapping to the whole of the organisation. Front line staff can be involved with the process mapping and will recognise their area on the map. I find this really empowers teams to take ownership of their process which drives them to make it the best it can be. The downsides are few and in my opinion dont spoil the overall use of the system; because its a web app you need a fast connection to load and use it quickly, especially if your map is large; and while the stylesheets work really well, to make it really visually special takes a bit of extra work. As a company Skore have been great to work with. Queries are dealt with quickly and theres a good community network if you want to find out about other ways that its used.

I have been using Skore software since it was first introduced. In that time I have used it to help me define target operating models, create customer journeys, map processes, demonstrate communication interfaces, sanity check highly regulated procedures, populate organisational diagrams, design services, trawl for requirements and generally take notes. Skore is a simple to use tool that does what it does extremely well. Indeed, with each iteration Skore becomes more powerful but remains simple to use. I highly recommend Skore to anyone needing to understand how an organisation works...from digital transformation to company mergers, from new software feature to organisational restructure. Keep up the good work Skore Labs.
