The Sir Alec Rose - JD Wetherspoon

As always whetherspoons cannot be faulted. Great food great drinks at an amazing price highly recommended.

Based within Port Solent, there are loads of parking places. Access to the Sir Alex Rose from the car park is via slope onto the decked area, via steps or a lift. There are two levels to the location - second level is via a lift outside on the deck area. Weatherspoons typical menu - wide choice, good prices. Seating upstairs is mainly on high tables and stools, but there are some normal height chairs and tables - some you have to take small number steps to get to. It was a back holiday, so it had been busy and so we did have to clear and wipe down the table we chose. The bar area was a mess and when we went back to order more, the bar area was still the same - it doesn't take long to clean down spills, etc. Team were responsive, albeit a little slow to come and take our order. I would still recommend the Sir Alex Rose, just consider the timing of your visit as it does get busy.
