Best Contractor Mortgage in the UK. I have been working in a permanent role for 15 years and then moved to contracting just before looking to buy our first home. I have been refused by all lenders for a mortgage due to my recent contracting role. I have approached Professional Contractor Mortgages and then spoke to Steve. From my first call itself Steve has clearly understood my situation and reassured me that he can help me to get the mortgage. At this time I was still looking for the right property. He also used to check in on with me about any progress on finding the right property. Once I contacted him about the property he swiftly worked through all processes and got me the Decision in Principle and other documents that were requested by the builder. The mortgage process was very smooth and Steve handled everything for me. On top of that he got me a very competitive interest rate considering the base rate was going up very frequently last year(2022). I have also spoke to Simon about the mortgage protection and he has guided me to choose what will be best for my situation. I will recommend Professional Contractor Mortgages 100%. Without them I would not be sitting in my first home today. Overall the best experience ever in getting the mortgage.

I have worked with Olivia on various occasions over the years, always with some slightly unusual house purchasing requirement. On every occasion Olivia has provided me with sound counsel and she is my "go to" for mortgages. Working with Professional Contractor Mortgages was very straightforward and everything was clearly explained to me ahead of time. Olivia went the extra mile for us and worked late into the evening to ensure that despite the vendors systems having issues she got our application in ahead of a rate rise. Put simply, Olivia knows her stuff and is really lovely to work with. I appreciate that even when i tried to go against her advice (basically putting down less of a deposit) she worked the numbers for me - but i concede that her advice was right and i should have listened to her all along. No doubt we will buy another property and without a doubt Olivia will be who i reach out to for mortgage assistance. As ever, thanks Olivia.
