Hotel ibis budget Portsmouth

Rooms are as described, nothing special and basic but it's good value for somewhere to lay your head. Taxi ride to Portsmouth centre 6 to 7 quid so no point driving there and paying 25 for parking. Parking at hotel very limited on site you have to park over the road. Don't bother with breakfast pop over the road to McDonald's for less Rooms: Basic but functional for a family of 3

Stayed one night in lock downdue to an emergency at home place was very clean covid safe and other guests helpful and more talkative than normal worth 37quid awake 4am due to council work on drains in the street which isn't the hotels problem update stayed again but now costs 47 quid a night however I was surprised that they don't have kettles in room which disappointed me and I will cry all night.Stayed again a few days ago 2023 and between two and four am two drunk women where shouting and asking if there was a party to go to. so out of recent stays it can be noisy outside which is a shame

The Manager Alex and the Receptionist Malli were very friendly and helpful for anything. Affordable as mentioned upon booking. Facilities available on a refundable deposit. A comfortable place for short stays. Breakfast can be included at a small price per person. And can help yourselves to cold water and hot drinks all day which is not bad.
