Ashbys Accommodation

My partner paid 230 for 1 night for a romantic break. On arrival the host was hostile and the room was depressing (view of the car park, stained cushion, cracks, chips a kettle bell as a doorstop). It is a 100 room at best. In addition they wanted to charge 25 per person for the jacuzzi plus 25 per person for the sauna . We have stayed in spa hotels before, this is not the experience you would expect for the price. We decided to leave, it would be nicer to stay at home than here. The owner couldn't have cared less when we said we were leaving. A very disappointing experience.

Amazing stay at this beautiful place, very clean and lots of amenities on offer. The communal lounge is amazing, full of activities provided such as pool table, air hockey, piano, table tennis, and big screen tv to name a few. Theres a well equipped lovely kitchen too if you fancy cooking for your family. Perfect location in the heart of Southsea, plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Wish that I had discovered this place sooner! The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Hands down this is the best accommodation that I have ever stayed in Portsmouth. Very good value for money. Highly recommended!!
