Portsmouth Budget Hotels

Stay here with my kids for the second time recently. Not go to lie the outside does look a little shabby, but inside it's a different story. Rooms clean and naturally decorated. Staff are lovely. you get a bit of traffic noise from the road at night, but I feel that kind of the price you pay for being so central. Genuinely you can't any cheaper so close to everything. There's a free museum with kids activities and picnic area about 1min walk away. there's also plenty of small shops and places to eat really close as well. though I won't advise it for any one with mobility difficulties, due to the lay out.
