Have used Back Active for years now (old whiplash injury). I'm always treated well by Wayne who makes sure all my little niggles are dealt with at the time and any big issues are usually resolved in one visit. I have worked in 3 different jobs during this time and the receptionists have always managed to get an appointment for me which fits in with my work and shifts. A friendly and professional service.

Best place for a chiropractor in Portsmouth, friendly and helpful. Very good at listening and understanding your issues. Would and have recommended them.

I cannot rate Wayne at Back to Health highly enough. Ive been going to him for over 10 years after having a nasty car accident in my early 20s and he has helped me through two pregnancies with severe SPD. Having briefly spent time away from Portsmouth and using another two chiropractors in that time, Wayne is the only chiropractor I will use now. He is professional, knowledgable, caring and brilliant at what he does.

Rude, self righteous receptionist called Debbie. Completely unprofessional. A violation of my data protection as a patient!! Mentioned my full name to a friend who called to make her own appointment!! A complete case of Discrimination on top of this!! I called as a regular patient to make appointment for when I arrive back from Corfu (not on list for quarantine) The receptionist Debbie said she would call me back when she has spoken to Wayne about seeing me having been abroad ( to an island with only 1 Case of coronavirus) Instead I recieve a text saying my appointment is booked in 17days time!!! My partner calls her 2 hrs later, to book her owm appointment, she is also on holiday with me.. she was given appointment 11days earlier than myself!!!!! Fact of the matter is... portsmouth has x100 more cases per 1000 than Corfu... i have to be swabbed and tested on arrival and will have evidence of NEGATIVE results!!! Whereas any random walk ins fro. Portsmouth will have no such evidence of guarantees as a high probability... This is blatant discrimination, and a violation of my data protection.. all phone calls where recorded. Debbie also refused to let us speak with Wayne himself.. until we mentioned the data protection violation... all of a sudden wayne is on the phone to us. He states I will not have my staff threatened with data protection... sorry wayne.. there was zero threat made.. simply a statement if my intentions to seek justice for this blatant violation of my data protection, and hurtful feeling of discrimination against me! I'm simply exercising my right to this!!! And also giving you chance to amend this disgusting situation before i proceed. Because guess what, we trust Wayne, his is a great chiropractor and a good man. And would hate to put his reputation into disrepute. Do they believe they know better than the UK government?? If they had called back as they said to explain, Waune has made a decision not to treat me to 'somehow protect his business.. that would of been completely fine with us. We are understanding people who were regular patients of his.... But no, a simple text message saying appointment booked for 18days time.. wheres my partner could have an appointment 11days earlier despite being sat next to me on Corfu. This is blatent outright discrimination. I have proof via medical testing I have no corona virus!! And will be retested upon arrival. The whole concept makes zero sense, the argument is totally flawed, with all statistics and facts in our favour. What a way to be treated as a repeat patient.. safely say we will not return. All phone calls recored and will take this further. I am in severe pain and disgusted by how I have been treated by Debbie the receptionist. In the same breath Wayne is a very competent amd professional chiropractor , so please don't let this review sway you In booking with him. Apparently honestly is not the best policy in this case... i just had to get this off my chest as we both feel deeply offended
