We have ordered food from here past 3/4 years on and off.but last few months or so quality has gone right down hill. Chips have become very scrappy no matter how many times we ring and mention this. Also we ordered tonight and waited from 7.45 until 9.25 to recieve our food which the chips were scrappy yet again, and burnt. I rang in only to be told sorry, no recompense or offer of additional replacement food. I would not recommend this takeaway, as they do not seem to listen to any complaints that come there way!

We rented a house for the weekend and after sightseeing on Saturday nobody wanted to cook so popped up the road to get a menu. Best choice we made all 5 of us agreed it was great. Food was delivered and boy was it tasty and piping hot. Have to say if I lived there this would be my go to.

Despite the menu saying card payments accepted, I was told its only for delivery (bit ludicrous as I live 3 minutes walk away). They wanted me to use a chargeable cash machine or wait for delivery (which to be fair, they did say 25 minutes as I said I wasnt waiting as I wanted to collect). Its not the first time Ive had problems paying by card. The last time, they agreed to bend the rules as my order was made in person (again, saying theyd accept cards). They also said there was a 10 minimum charge. They initially wouldnt let me pay by card as I was not on the phone. Although, when i said that Id leave the shop and call from the pavement outside, and order extra, therefore satisfying the need to order by call and pay over 10, they relented. However they disputed this and implied that I was lying. Despite offering to show them my bank statements, they werent interested. I advised them that its false advertising as they are advertising a service but not stating anywhere the massive condition attached to it. After discussing this on the phone, they hung up on me because they were getting another call (and therefore being very unprofessional to this potential customer). Despite them offering me the pay in shop and giving address details as if I was a telephone order (which I originally was), I respectfully declined and took my business elsewhere. I did say I would be consulting legal advice as I strongly believe they shouldnt be advertising what they are on their menu. My only advise is: update your menu to reflect that you only accept cards for delivery.
