This is one of the best schools in Southsea and Portsmouth. Even it has Good rate by OFSTED but children love it so much! In parents' opinion the School is Outstanding We found great attitude to pupils and their families. Children are happy to go to School and it is so great to have a Wimbledon Park with a lovely playground next to the School. We highly recommend this School and its friendly but professional staff!

I was a sinner there from 1956-1960. I recall Mr Madigan, head (who replaced Miss Geary), Mrs DiMarco, Mrs Langton (good with the cane), Miss Fawcett and Mrs Hastings the dinner lady who terrified me because I hated boiled cabbage and the disgusting for me meat 'n' two veg school meals but which were no doubt healthy in the days shortly after rationing. Mrs Hastings; you are long forgiven; I have realised for a long time that you saw WW1, the Great Depression and WW2 when even boiled cabbage would have been precious. Even in 1958 we kids were taught about the possibility of CO2-induced global warming in Mrs DiMarco's Geography class. If Paul Anthony Clair ever reads this, where are you? We lost touch in the 1970s. I tried to contact you via St Johns records, but no luck. As for Philip Thomson, I still owe you a thump round the ears. Small boys NEVER EVER forget!
