False advertising when I went for an event, bar staff treated customers as if we were simply a chore and honestly not a brilliant spot, I went on a fairly dead night as well so I do not see the reasoning for such treatment.

I emailed and messaged about this twice and had no response hence I am now leaving a negative review I wanted to get in touch regarding our issue on Saturday night. My sister and her partner were in Portsmouth visiting me and after a few drinks elsewhere we decided to come to popworld for a dance. After I and a few other friends got in I noticed they weren't letting my sisters boyfriend in so I went out to find out why. It was apparently because of his ID. He had a military ID which he couldn't use apparently because it couldn't be scanned. Obviously this we understand. But then he also had a second form of photo ID which was an additional vehicle licence (he'd left his actual license at home). He was then told this couldn't be accepted either and he couldn't come in. While having a policy on ID I understand, the fact he had 2 forms of valid ID and you didn't accept either seems unreasonable. But ultimately why I feel the need to contact you over this is because, as we we stood debating what to do if he couldn't get in, the lady security on the door allowed a group of women to get in without any ID at all. While yes they were all at least in their late 30s/early 40s, the fact my friend is told he can't come in due to policy and yet they had no ID at all is completely unacceptable. I have previously come to Popworld and a friend had no ID. He again was clearly over 30 yet he was also turned away. While I'm sure there is another reason for it, they fact twice now ID has been an issue for a male friend of mine while a group of women entered with no ID, makes it look like your security it sexist.
