        The worst branch Ive visited. Both outside machines not taking cash today. Counter assistant unfriendly and impolite. Such a pity the Southsea branch has closed.

        Josh from the Portsmouth Santander was brilliant. Very friendly, only too happy to help when we asked him for a few different things and so polite whilst doing it!

        Went to close my Santander account last week, and the procedure was quick and smooth. I was told that my remaining balance will be sent to the account I left them. Instead I got a check this week, and they refuse to cash it because I don't have an account with them.
