        Great to have a viewing platform outside the centre but if, as happened on Sunday, you happen to be there when it's raining and are obliged to sit inside, the (dirty) windows didn't allow for much bird watching. Good coffee though.

        Restrooms: Clean tidy and warm! Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly area. Great place to start a doggie explore of Chesil Beach.

        Great little centre. Perfect way to start the trek from one end of the beach down to the other. Very informative and useful. The little wooden bridge onto the pebble beach itself is decorated with some wooden animal carvings and memorial plaques which is a nice touch. The car park like many in the error seemed to have issues with taking card payments so I'd recommend either downloading the app or using change. Nice view across to Portland as well
