        I was very pleased with my yearly boiler service which included cleaning my Magna filter. The boiler guy was punctual, polite and very tidy. I also had quite a few questions on my central heating system which he was happy to answer. Thanks for advice.

        Cant praise Mathisons enough! My boiler had been playing up for a while and as it was 12 years old I knew Id need to replace it at some point. Well, it finally stopped working altogether and I thought Id be without heating and hot water for weeks but Mathisons came to quote the following day and installed a new boiler the day after that. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. Service: Heating system maintenance

        I have had negative experiences with plumbers and boiler repairs in the past, including a chap that turned up, and within 5 minutes said he couldn't repair the fault, but then demanded an extortionate call out fee for doing no actual work. This company has restored my faith. I was without heating during a freezing spell of weather. They sent someone within 15 minutes, who found the fault lied with my gas supplier, so there was nothing they could do. Despite telling me there was a callout fee which would be taken off any work done, they didn't charge me anything. They would have been within their rights to charge me, as the fault wasn't anything they could've fixed, but after arriving so quickly, and spending their time looking for the problem, they didn't charge me. Testament to why they've been a successful local business for so long. Service: Heating system maintenance

It has really opened my eyes to the fact there are very knowledgeable plumbers/heating engineers out there, who smile and love their job and do not suck air through their teeth!
