Bottelino's

I'm afraid Bottelino's decor is well past its best and way out of date. We went with friends and had sea bass on Friday 8th April it was okish :-( Went again on 24th of April and three of us had pizzas and they were absolutely gross! unfortunately I didn't take any pictures they were about two millimeters deep. I had four pieces of chicken cubes about 5mm square a little bit of ham about four pieces of chritzo sausage and that was all on base. It was very hard to cut through wasn't crispy in any way and the base was soggy so I wouldn't recommend going there at all. Taste 1/10 left 80% and no one ask why i left so much. Other 2 left 60%.

Brilliant night out at Bottellino's restaurant Portishead. Cellebrated my 60th Birthday with 30 family and friends. With pre-ordered meals everything went to plan. All the staff were very professional and really helpful. Food excellent, served hot and freshly cooked. All the staff were really professional and friendly. I'd like to thank them so much for making this event so special for all of us. Liz and Tim Welsh.

This has always been my favourite restaurant for pizza. Sadly not on this occasion. All of our pizzas, 7 out of the 12 of us had pizza, the tiniest amount of cheese on. It was just pizza dough and tomato sauce with barely 3 blobs of mozzarella on top and no other cheese. The steak was supposed to have a choice of potatoes and salad included in the 22.95 price tag. We did not notice until studying the receipt after that they had added the salad and fries on as extras! Costing nearly an extra 8. We didnt get offered parmesan cheese or black pepper with any of our dishes and the young guy in the suit who works there was a right misery. All the other staff I could not complain about, it was just a shame the pizzas were so awful. Will never go back. 246+ or 270+ if we had paid the service charge on top. Very expensive for a disappointing special birthday.
