        Lovely friendly staff who are always Willing to help. Food was very good and the position on the shores of Derwentwater is perfect for walks up Catbells and into Newlands Valley. Room 40 is OK Classic room with huge bathroom. Very warm on arrival and no way to adjust the monster radiator. Resorted to wrapping it in the bed runner and that worked fine.
