Eileen's Port Isaac

I ordered breaded plaice and chips but was hugely disappointed. It was the smallest fillet I've ever experienced and it was frozen fish not fresh. The breadcrumbs were over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. The chips were very dry despite soaking them in vinegar. One of the worst fish and chips I've ever eaten. I thought Port Isaac was famous for it's fish and fisherman but this is an establishment does not do it justice.

Really very good fish and chips! Hot, fresh, light and chrispy. We order 14 portions over the phone and picked them up.

Exceptional example of British cuisine! The fish tested so fresh and the chips done just the way I like them. Spot on!

Wouldnt recommend it, service very slow even if you order ahead. Lots of customers unhappy. Lady who seemed to be running it didnt seemed at all bothered. They kept taking orders on the phone aswell but couldnt keep up, had to wait 25 minutes for my order which they got wrong and when i said was told " i am not looking for an argument" All i wanted was my chips!
