This was some of the most shocking service I have ever received - The man who served us persisted to address me as Mate, then became very irritated and rude when we werent sure which type of ice cream to order, he then refused to sell us a bottle of water at the kiosk for my 3 year old son who was dehydrated and when the ice cream arrived it had a sharp bit of plastic buried in it. When confronted with his appalling attitude he simply said he was tired as its been a long season! This man should not be serving the public and as I pointed out to him was in the wrong job stay well away from this place!

Harbour Stores is a fantastic shop! It is definitely worth a visit because the Ice Cream is delicious !! Also, the owner is very helpful and kindly always collects a paper for us each morning whenever we are here! Thank you again for being so accommodating!

A lovely stop for ice cream or tea. With a large selection of postcards, beach gear and souvenirs, Harbour Stores has a quintessential English seaside feel to it, right on the edge of the harbour. Very friendly, too.

I don't understand the negativity for a review of this shop. Dominic is just a tad shy and if you take the time to speak with him he is a genuinely nice chap. He works hard and fends off some quite hostile, ignorant customers that could do with learning one or two manners. The phrase "the customer is always right" is nonsense if the customer cannot just take a second and take in what is going on around them. Not enough empathy in this world unfortunately. I think its the best ice cream destination on our annual holiday everytime.
