Robins Brook Holiday Cottage is a cosy miners cottage with nice character. Starting downstairs the living room is small but nice and cosy. The TV is small but adequate as your most likely going to be going to the beach or a nice walk through the woodland. The Dining Room is nice and large with a table that can be extended. It has a lot of books if you like to read as well as chairs if you want to relax. The Kitchen is a good size but the cupboard space is small as most of them are full of utensils. The washing machine works fine but couldn't get the dryer function to work. Rear Garden is nice to sit out in the sun with the provided table and chairs, perfect to have lunch or dinner. Moving upstairs the Main bedroom is large with a lot of cupboard space. The bed is very comfy and nice to wake up looking out the window. The other bedroom also has comfy beds with a large oak wardrobe and dresser space. With a nice few looking out at the trees. The bathroom is good but could do with a mirror above the basin and the shower screeches if the temperature is set too high. The Garden across the road is perfect to relax in listening to the river go by and forget about your worries. If you have dogs this is perfect if they need to go to the bathroom before bed. To sum this up The cottage is all round a nice place to stay with vintage decor that takes you back but still offers everything you need. Highly recommend this place and will be returning in the future. I recommend the walkthrough Hawkombe Woods and to the Weir. As well as Blue Anchor Bay and Tarr Steps. Lastly, the WIFI is a lot faster than we are used to at 20Mbps which is perfect for social media and streaming video. WIFI Signal is Great downstairs but not so good in the twin room. Mobile signal is nonexistent downstairs but good by the upstairs windows.
