Ships Mews

A little more attention to detail wouldn't have gone ammiss. Inside back of microwave dried up food. Floor tiles in bathroom needed moping. Outside light not working. Other than that a great place to stay. Public house with good food and drink 100yds away. Short walk to village shops etc. Wonderful place if you love to walk in the countryside.

Spacious & vert comfortable accommodation. All facilities provided, nice bedding & soft towels. Good instructions for appliances, hot water, heaters etc. We didn't see or hear from anyone within our stay, although communication prior to arrival was good, key accessed via keybox. Lots of cobwebs, in the high ceilings etc & outside which could do with attention, but would recommend this accommodation.

Visited the pub which was the Ship Inn,Porlock.Nice cosy pub with 2 nice eating areas which was the lounge,and even the bar,Food was good to,not to little,or to much,just enough to satisfy.The staff wher nice to.The beer garden outside.court my eye, was nice with about 6 levels,and the further up the garden the better view u had of the sea,while having a nice drink.

Fabulous place. Lovely big room and bathroom. Super comfy bed. Well appointed small kitchen. Dedicated parking spot, adjacent. Pub on hand for Lovely food. Private garden for use of ships Mews. Just around the corner to the town shops. Directly on Porlock Hill, only a few minutes to exmoor and smashing views of the coastline. Fab area.
