Great pub, good atmosphere and friendly staff, Dog friendly, had a great evening

Was perfectly fine but then the landlord completely overreacted about someone eating a tube of Pringles whilst watching the football drinking in the pub. What a clown!

My husband and I have visited this pub for years and the way the landlord just spoke to a paying customer was disgusting! So rude and disgusting, shouting at customers for their dogs barking, which couldn't be helped! Considering this is a dog friendly place, the behaviour and attitude of this so called landlord was appalling, and we will not be returning! Not recommended for dog owners and a lovely, family friendly environment

The Royal Oak reopened yesterday. Looks great inside. Staff are very friendly. Advised food will be available sometime in May.
