Recent stay at The Stable Block Porlock Weir. This was a quality set up. Ideal for a couple, was cosy & had everything you would need Stunning views from the terrace and upstairs bedroom. Secure garden/terrace area was great for our dog, along with plenty of walking nearby, down to the harbour. The best of Exmoor made the whole experience a pleasure.

We had a lovely stay at Pebble lodge it was in a lovely location between Watchet and Blue Ancor. Was extremely spacious and we hope to return soon. This is 3rd time we have booked through The Best of Exmoor and thoroughly recommend them.

Your Review: We had a lovely stay in the Old Sweet Shop. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. It has everything required for a family holiday. The beds are comfortable and the hot tub is a plus. It is a short walk down into Minehead and a short drive up to North Hill and Bossington Hill where there are scenic walks a plenty. Highly recommended. __

This is a great base from which to explore Exmoor. If you're into walking (and I'm guessing you might well be) then there are some great walks direct from the cottage - no need to use the car. This year the Doone Valley was the highlight as it had been so dry that the actual valley was not muddy at all! Lots of local pubs, tea rooms and other places to visit. Inside the cottage everything is as you would want to find it. 2 king sized beds both with ensuite, a large lounge with woodburner, TV feels spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped generally and has a great table for 4 to sit and eat together. And a utility area for muddy boots, dogs etc. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. The whole experience was really good and we will go again.
