I was approached for a Marketing Director role by Ruth on LinkedIn for a really exciting fintech startup. Ruth managed expectation right from the start, had really open and honest communication about this senior marketing role. The whole process from start to finish was really professional and easy. Graphenstone - Harleston We are rapidly expanding and needed a new team member to join our busy warehouse at the start on 2022. We discussed the role with 'Paul' at Swarm, supplied a job description and advised him what characteristics in a new employee we were looking for. 'Paul' at Swarm carried out a brief telephone interview with each candidate before supplying us with a selection of applicants. Swarm kept in contact with us to see how each applicant was progressing through interview stages, answering any questions we had and notifying candidates of updates as and when required. We are now very happy to update that our 'NEW' Team Member started on the 4th January and we are very happy with our selection. Terrible experience, applied for an apprenticeship and was told to email or call them for a quick chat. My email was ignored and when I called, a woman (Sally Harris) was very awkward and unprofessional, she made an appointment to call me a few days later about the position and never did. So not only did she give a bad first impression and never responds to emails for her own vacancy, but wastes your time and can't attend or meet her own set up meeting, it's almost funny she's Head of Recruitment but so unorganised and unprofessional. For the sake of your time and effort, run and avoid from anything with the name Sally Harris on it. IN RESPONSE: My name has been hidden for privacy reasons and it shouldn't be difficult to see who has applied through your link or who Sally Harris has responded to for a chat and not replied to the applicant's response. If it's difficult then I assume she's ignored more than one applicant which further diminishes the professionalism I criticised earlier. My experience alone was more than enough to lose interest in the position and I require no assistance as I prefer to work for a more inviting and professional company. My review was merely to warn other future applicants for positions under Sally Harris. Please take this as constructive criticism and I recommend you insure your HR rules and regulations are abided by as you have a legal obligation to do so. You may want to review your Head of Recruitment (Sally Harris) for professionalism and responding to applicants in a proper manner and not arrange meetings about the position and never attend or calls to them without notice.
