Titch comes highly recommended - not just by me, but by all his customers. And with good reason. Despite the lock down, he managed to source the necessary parts to turn my chosen violin in a Sonic Heritage and get it out to me super-fast. I've attached some photos of her, but they don't really do justice to the outstanding building quality and finish and can't convey the richness of her tone and the versatility of that transducer bridge pickup (so much better than any electric, solid body violin I've tried out). When the lock down is over, Sionnach (as I've name my new violin) will be accompanying me to all my gigs - whether or not I happen to playing fiddle at the time :) Thanks, Titch.

I've had my fabulous Sonic Violin for ten years and just had it serviced by Richard. Wonderful service as always from a great gent who knows his craft inside out!

Great to meet Richard, great place to try out violins, even tried some effects for the first time. Richard gave me some great tips on setting up my sound. A big thank you from me.

Sonic Violins is the wonderful result of my intense and frustrating five-month search. Richard "Titch" from Sonic Violins is absolutelyAMAZING! I can't thank him enough. After finding out what I wanted, whichis a warm, acoustic sound, I began searching and luckily left no stone unturned. I had almost settled on an electric violin with an acoustic maker pre-amp but wasn't happy with the sound at all. Sonic Violin's philosophy of "if you want the sound of an acoustic violin then get an acoustic violin" is very very true. On stage and in loud practice settings though you also have to make sure the techs are happy and nobody's complaining about feedback. Sonic's the answer. The communication with Titch was a revelation. He calls himselfmy "violin engineer", but he's so much more. He answered all of myquestions almost immediately and personally. Not only does he know his trade from the engineering side (because he is an engineer) he is also a passionate fiddler/violinist. He's straight-up honest, knowledgeable, dependable, funny, professional and explains things in a non-condescending way. I never felt like I was bothering him with my laymen questions. After corresponding first in Messenger, then e-mail and later in WhatsApp we had a really nice phone call where I was able to tell him exactly what I was looking for. He sent me a violin specialized to my needs with a Sennheisserxsw-d pedalboard set (which I love!) and pressured me in no way to feel like I had to keep it if I didn't like it. He actually told me not to get my hopes up too high! I was able to take my time and try out "Funky Old Bull" in different situations before I made my final decision. Yes, my violin even has a name! We named it together. Not only can I practice at home with a muter, but I also love the warm, rich, amplified sound. My band members are excited too!! Just what I was looking for! You can't beat the price. There is no middle man. He does all the work and promotion himself. Even after the purchase, he's there for support and information. Great company, great product, great experience. Thanks Titch! - Sandie Blair P.S. I don't like my Sonic... I love it!! :-)
