Everything at Bater Self Catering is very old and has seen better days. The carpet that is just simply a disgrace, the curtains that haven't been washed, the patio that is unloved. Extremely uncomfortable and old mattresses, a fridge that comes on in the middle of the night and makes a lot of noise, dirty cupboards, old fittings....and to top it off we had estate agents turning up on our door step asking us whether it is ok to show some people round.

A bargain get-away! Superbly located in a quiet area a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Poole Quay. Clean, light and with a great layout, this holiday home was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The patio was bathed in sunshine when we arrived and we used this all the time. Evenings were spent strolling by the sea to the Quay, where we enjoyed the cafes, shops and history before romantic moonlit walks home along the water's edge to our quiet little hide-away. During the day, highlights included getting the ferry to Studland and visiting the Blue Pool. Lots of recommendations and ideas of places to visit were left in the accommodation. We will undoubtedly stay here again in the near future.
