Returned to the shop 1 week after purchase with box and receipt and asked for a refund. The cashier told me that they were unable to issue a refund or replace the faulty item, if they did and made a mistake it would cost them their job! They then advised me that I could escalate the issue to management when they are back in storein 1 weeks time.
All in all I think ill stick to Tower supplies/Screwfix next time.
