Only popped in for a drink. Kept being told to move, from upstairs in the sunshine to inside downstairs then from our chosen table to a small table. Pay ridiculous prices & cant even relax to enjoy it, a proper sh#t public house. My mate said the food standard was very poor along with the customer service. I wont entertain the place ever again.

Great venue for lunch, delicious food and staff, highly recommend The Avocet was only popping in for a coffee while waiting for the train and stayed for lunch thanks team

Had a great meal at The Avocet - staff really friendly - good value for money - happy hour is such a great offer - we will definitely be coming back to have cocktails on the terrace thanks team
