We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival to the premises, we were shown to our table and had everything explained to us by Colin the duty manager on shift today (04/05/2023), we chose to order our food at the bar rather than on the app but would have preferred to have someone taken out order at the table as we were sat in the restaurant part of the premises. Our food was delivered to the table very quickly and was piping hot and delicious as always. We will definitely return again at some point.

Stayed at room 9 was big mistake can't sleep properly-kitchen was right under! You can order food and eat in. Stay away fellow travelers

Checked into this place tonight at late notice and late on in the evening. The welcome from Colin the assistance manager was absolutely phenomenal from the first contact. He explained that our room wasnt setup for two as the booking was made late and instantly apologised and personally showed us to our room and setup our beds. He gave us lots of really helpful information about how to leave the hotel early and also gave us directions to the ferry port. He talked us through all the draught beer options and even the food menu and explained why marstons was a great choice for accomodation for our company and how to best access the best rates online. He also made us feel most welcome even though we were the only people remaining and taking him past his finish time. I arrange 700/800 hotel room bookings per year and I can hands on say that this experience is incomparable at any major chain hotels. If Marstons could find a few hundred Colins then they would be the only place anyone would want to stay. Well done Colin we will be back very soon.
