Received a PCN that I was not responsible for. I contacted Devere Parking Services and within 24 hours it was cancelled. Max at Devere was very understanding of my situation and I thank him for resolving the matter so quickly.

I am not complaining about the fact that they issued a PCN or rejected my appeals. 1 star is as fair as the code of practice they use and the nature of their business, in my situation. They are regulating the car park where I live. I have been given a permit showing my flat number that must be displayed on the dashboard/windscreen, if I decide to park in my residence's car park. In three occasions, I have not displayed my permit and due to this I received three PCNs which are now fully paid. - The first occasion: I did not physically hold the permit yet from the landowner as I returned to my flat from a long absence, due to medical reasons. - The second occasion: I simply forgot, after a 12hrs night shift. - The third occasion: My permit was used for another car the previous evening, while on my night shift. When I returned from my shift, I collected the permit back from my flat before displaying it. It took me only 5 minutes (I had pictures showing the time) ... I thought that the 5 minutes consideration rule could have been applied but, I clearly did not understand this rule... I have therefore paid a total of 105 as the result of a human mistake. These 3 PCNs prices were discounted, which could have been worse... Yet, I am sure that everyone would agree that receiving a PCN while parked at my home for which I have a permit, normally displayed, is not fair. This practice is detrimental to residents, causing a lot of emotional as well as financial stress. I know that I could affix my permit permanently to avoid this, however, my permit is sometimes used for my second car, and I am not comfortable showing strangers where I reside everywhere I go. It is a shame that they do not cancel the PCN when residents subsequently supply a copy of their permits. It is also a shame that they do not have a list of registration of the cars that park on an everyday basis, to avoid issuing PCN unfairly.

Max, great help, thank you. We had another local parking company monitoring our block who just gave us all grief [basically acting fraudulently in my opinion]. DeVere came in and have been great. We call them out, they come within minutes. [Not like the other shysters who ticketed everyone for fun, even the ones with the permits displayed who live here]. Fully recommend DeVere for parking enforcement.
