Dec22 INTO THE GROOM I was given the details from a friend for Steph, the owner of Into The Groom Ive had dogs for many years, but after a long illness I finally got a new puppy. I had gone to another groomer with my last baby, but I lost him at 16, then its taken 4 yrs to feel ready to have a new pup/baby! Well, hes a Shih-Poo so obviously his coat can be challenging!! I do my best to maintain it daily. However, I bought an Equafleece thinking it would help protect his coat in the cold, wet, icy winter days!! Well after 30 minutes, I was so upset as I took his dog suit off to find he was matted all over, from his head/neck to his entire body & legs!!! I was so upset, I messaged Steph, she replied with some advice & products to use, to help tease the matts out. Then Steph changed his pre Christmas cut to a few days later, reassuring me, to try to relax, shed do all she can to resolve this!! I must admit I was rather ashamed to take him to Steph on this occasion, due to the state of his hair, imagine how it was before Id spent a lot of time getting matted areas out, but I simply couldnt do any more. Every time Ive taken my lil boy to Steph, he comes out looking so handsome, the cut is Perfection, his hair is so soft & he smells amazing!! So, good his time I kept telling myself I know Steph would do her best, but she really was given a Task & a half that day!! Well, Steph mustve used every trick of the trade! Over 2hrs later I picked him up & Wow!!! He was looking such a handsome boy, the products Steph used made his coat look & feel fantastic! I honestly cant recommend Into The Groom enough. Steph is so in tune with dogs, she goes at their pace, shes so patient & has such a calm way, she gives them lil breaks & lots of fuss & shes so caring. She is so professional, has a wealth of experience & uses quality products. Stephs always happy to help or give advice & yes, Im prob the crazy, overprotective puppy mum, but even Im 100% happy that my baby is happy with me leaving him there with Steph for his groom. Id trust her implicitly. Over 40 yrs weve had dogs & I dont think Ive ever come across any groomer like her. I dont usually give feedback, but when you get AMAZING results & Appt after Appt, you are delighted with what the person does for your pup & you, How could I not let other people know what a Fantastic Groomer Steph is!!!

After my neighbour, who owns Milo a roan coloured Cockerpoo from Christchurch, so highly recommended you, I have left several messages for you, but have not yet received a reply? Tilby, my champagne coloured cockerpoo puppy (Milo's best friend) would so love to see you, as would I, but until we do, I can't give you a full house of stars - above, as I'd like. Steph has been our go to dog groomer for many years. We have previously tried elsewhere but were never content with the attention, care and standard of the grooming. We wouldnt consider another groomer in the future and thank Steph for all the hard work she puts in. Its worth noting our dog really does enjoy seeing Steph and coming back with a brilliant cut is just icing on the cake. Thanks as always Steph.

Boris the border collie loves Steph. She is very friendly, gentle and patient with doggies (and humans). Boris always comes home looking brand new, clean, tidy and fluffy. I couldnt recommend Into the Groom highly enough.
