Delph House Nursing & Residential Home

I would suggest each and every one of you Delph House...Mainly because the homely atmosphere here will make you better than any other nursing homes in Dorset... The staffs are kind and helpful always...

My dad has been residing at Delph House for over 5 months now and will be his permanent, nursing home. I had a choice of two other nursing homes, two others in Poole and I am so glad that I chose Delph House. Home cooked food is prepared and baked in the home's kitchen and dad loves his food and he hasn't complained once of any meals! Fruit salad is given to dad, instead of cake in the mid morning and afternoon tea/coffee times, as he is a diabetic. The staff are all very friendly, attentive and respectful of dad's personal care and needs, despite his aggressive ways with his dementia. I could list the names of all the great carers and staff at Delph House, but I wouldn't want to miss out anyone in error, but they all do a great job in my opinion, but wished sometimes that there are more of them, as when one residents calls for assistance; another one wants support!
