This course opens up your understanding of meditation practice, and more importantly, your awareness of the need to be present. Sean is an excellent teacher who puts you at ease, is highly attuned to each students' needs, and tailors the course accordingly. He made the course really engaging and managed to articulate so clearly what to do and what meditation encompassed. I feel much more focused and calm after completing the course, and am starting to have some insights when meditating. I would highly recommend this course to everyone and anyone!

I have just finished the 8 week meditation course. When I first started the course I was having trouble with stress and anxiety. I was a novelist meditator and needed direction of how to move on with meditation to feel the benefits. Sean has shown me how to reduce my stress levels and given me a real in sight to what meditation is about, also the Benefits of meditation showing different techniques I can use. Sean is interested in his students he is compassionate and shares his journey with his students I would highly recommend this course. I shall continue to meditate and will be going on to do more courses with Sean.

Sean is very engaging and flexible, tailoring the course to your personal needs. Despite conducting the course online due to the pandemic, Sean created a trusting and open environment enabling me to get the most from this course. He is very knowledgeable on a multitude on concepts, whilst open to new ideas and discussion, and adapted these to my learning and needs. Sean was also, and still is, on hand for support as and when required. I'm very thankful to Sean for the skills and knowledge he has equipped me with to continue my meditation journey. This has enabled me to be a more grounded individual both personally and professional - thank you Sean! I highly recommend this course.

Fantastic course - I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Sean was a great teacher - knowledgeable and engaging. He has a really open and grounded manner and has a great way of explaining new concepts that make them easy to access. Doing the course has helped me immensely in dealing with stress and has inspired me to continue my mindfulness journey beyond the 8 weeks. Thank you!

I would highly recommend the 8 week Conscious Mind course run by Sean Bevis. The benefits are huge. There are many facets to this course but one of the main things I took away was the demonstrable importance of finding time for oneself every day. Finding time to meditate can be difficult but is always worth it. Everyones experience is different but Ive found myself generally more accepting of occurrences beyond my control, less frustrated, calmer and have noticed increased awareness more generally in a relatively short space of time. The course process has highlighted to me the importance of recognising role stress, acceptance and embracing of change and of gratitude. Why are we always focusing on the negative when so much is absolutely idyllic??!! Sometimes you need someone to show you what you know but are choosing to avoid! The course is a good mix of background information, some history, open discussion which was highly therapeutic (although it is not a therapy session) and of course meditation practice. The environment was calm and accepting and I immediately felt at ease. Sean as a teacher is an excellent listener and responds to peoples specific challenges and approaches in a considered way. Seans regular communication and support outside the once a week session was welcome and I certainly felt help was always at hand should difficulties with the practice arise. Overall the course was a really positive experience which I wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Like anything you get out what you put in and commitment is required to reap the benefits but there is plenty of support to help you get there.
