AVOID BARTONS AT ALL COSTS! Poor quality products with substantial faults, supplied damaged and installed poorly. Add to this a complete disregard for customer service or basic courtesy. Appointed through a main contractor who was fired from the project, Bartons were asked to attend site to assess defects which include multiple product faults and poor workmanship on site, and not small issues either (windows that don't open, doors warped shut). They have refused to even attend site and look at the issues with their faulty products and poor installation. A complete disregard for doing the right thing with an end customer who spent c.40,000 on a full set of windows and doors circa.30 in total of which 12 are defective! Their claims around quality and customer service just don't stand up to testing! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I went to the store in person, talked to Pete Stocks about the conservatory I wanted. He said he would send me the quote, I emailed him the next day and he replied that he was busy and would send me the quote the next day, but he didn't. It's been 12 days without a quote. I'm going to build my conservatory with another company because I don't have any trust in a company that doesn't care about the customer that will pay in cash.

Excellent, I had several quotes, there first quote was excepted without any haggling they were more than competitive. Very impressed with the fitters spot on, timing cleanness, polite and the actual fitting of windows first class. Would definitely recommend them, first class.

Had bi-fold doors fitted by Barton Windows and all five panes were BADLY scratched on the inside middle panes of the triple glazing. One representative from their firm visited stated this was unacceptable and he would speak with the director to resolve. The director is suggesting it is acceptable to have scratches like this if they are only visible in sunlight! Furthermore, he wanted to charge me 40 to come and have a look at the damaged glass himself! Terrible customer service, not interested once windows fitted and use every excuse in the book to avoid dealing with the terrible quality they installed. They may be cheaper than some other firms but I guess you pay for what you get. I have since used another window company for the front of the house and they have been fantastic and nothing is too much trouble.
