Mark is a very good and patient teacher. He is clearly a guitar enthusiast and is able to communicate very well even with 70+ year old beginners like myself . Highly recommended.

My son has really enjoyed learning the guitar with Mark. At times, after a long day at school, he hasn't been to keen to go, but after his lesson he is beaming. Which is brilliant to see!! Mark has a great way of engaging and making the lessons fun for the children, plus it goes without saying that he is an amazing guitar teacher! Thanks Mark!!

After just strumming chords for a couple of years and trying to follow you-tube videos, Ive made so much more progress by regular lessons with Mark. He can help you solve things you just cant do without an experienced teacher. I didnt want to follow a strict grades programme but he does find ways to get me following the right fundamentals and to absorb essential music theory,. So while I may think Im just playing the tune I aspired to play and couldnt before, Im learning permanent lessons creating a proper foundation. Marks a very easy guy to get along with and always accepts each new project I bring to his lessons with enthusiasm despite me giving him little or no prior notice to prepare. He still always sorts me out. That shows just how good he is but hes modest about it. So as an outright beginner, aged 50 I never felt embarrassed about my earlier clumsy playing or felt any pressure regarding my rate of progress. Highly recommend Mark to anyone.
