        Had an appointment with Dr Ponton this week. Really friendly knowledgable and informative - set my mind at ease regarding ongoing medical issues. Always great service from Shore Medical and Fernside surgery. Keep up the good work!

        Doctors are great but its a shame their opening times are so sporadic. My son was very poorly this afternoon: couldnt get through to Fernside number, 111 were of no help, in the end had no choice but to phone for an ambulance. Ambulances all too busy so went up to Fernside with my poorly son only to find theyre closed: 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon. We have a long term life threatening illness in our family and this unpredictable system just isnt working. I really like the doctors but feel as though we have no choice but to move

        I've had great experiences with the GPs at Fernside, but ever since covid hit, I have been forced to go to their sister surgeries instead, such as Heatherview, which is a huge inconvenience for me. They never seem to be open at their usual hours anymore and their website does not give accurate opening times.
