This company is absolutely soul destroying. Management have no idea what they are doing as staff turn over for office positions are so frequent because no staff want to stay long. Coordinators are horrendous at organisation and cause a great amount of stress as the weekly Rotas are very rarely done right even when they are aware of your availability that you give countless times. Under experienced/trained staff are promoted, mainly because they dont mind working long hours or being treated badly. You have to send countless emails trying to get help for things from management and even when promised things will be sorted it very rarely is. Considering its a care company it was absolutely shocking to work at Alina, I have seen countless safeguarding concerns that have been raised and then swept under the carpet as threat of losing clients means less money which is mostly what the company cares about. When you try to speak your mind a little because you feel your are being treated unfairly you get harassed and threatened by countless staff including The HR department. The amount of stress, anxiety, health problems and countless other things this company has given personally me and other staff members should be the first thing to consider if you want to work for this company or not. Even my family members and partner were so happy when I finally left the company as it made me go from a very happy positive person to absolutely miserable. I also have been underpaid on a few occasions and again when you try to contact people to sort it out you get met with obstacles. There are better care companys you can work for that offer a lot better pay especially if you have the passion to support people properly. After working at Alina I would not place a family member into this supported living company if ever needed. I wouldnt even give 1 star if there was an option.
