Unfortunately one star is too generous. I have had terrible experience whilst going through the interview process. I attended the interview. Whist in the interview they explained that they have more candidates to see on the Friday and following Monday so they will let me know Monday at the latest and I explained that was good as I had been offered another position however I was putting them off so that I could see what the outcome was from Dixon Carphone as that was my priority. Unfortunately that's where the problems started as I never did get anything back on the Monday which I wasn't too surprised about so I left it until the Wednesday before I emailed Carolina firstly in which I received a email that stated she was annual leave but on that email there no alternative contact I could call or email in order for me to obtain any feedback. I had no option other than calling the sales line and ask to speak either Chak Beagley or Robert Saluzzo as they was two of the managers that attended my interview. Unfortunately they wasn't available so I was informed that they would call me back. I'm afraid that never happened. I was hoping I would get a call over the following couple of days but again that never materialised. I thought the best thing to do is then wait until Monday 28th to contact Carolina. I started by sending an email as I was worried that if it stretched any further I would burn my bridges with the other company. Once again I received no response not even a acknowledgment so I decided to call on Monday around 4pm to speak to Carolina again but there was no answer. I then proceeded to call the sales line again and was advised she wasn't available but she will call back. Once again this never happened. I waited again until 31st October for some acknowledgment but it wasn't there so I decided to call her on her mobile and there was no answer so I decided to call the sales line and again was told she wasn't available. This time I wasn't willing to accept being fobbed off so I said I would like to speak to someone else who deals with that part of the business only to be told there is no one else so I had to leave the call with out any conclusion. I did then receive a call back on my mobile as she wasn't aware that was my number and seemed to have been taken by surprise that it was me however she did explain that I wasn't successful which I can happily accept as there is always a chance better candidates could be interviewed. I did say that I was very disappointed on how I have been treated and that it is just professional courtesy to acknowledge someone at the very least if they was good enough to give their time for a interview. She explained that she had too much catching up to do from her time off and that when she got back from her leave Robert took a week off so she couldn't give me answer. I said that she could of replied to my email Monday by saying that unfortunately she can't give me answer until Robert returns and I would of accepted that. Carolina did apologies but I said I would like to make a complaint so I asked her to email the details on how I can do that and she said that she will pass my complaint on in which I informed her that was not acceptable because it's negative feedback on part due to her actions so I asked her to send me the email for the head of operations on that site hence the email today. I received a call almost immediately from Chak who was very good and provided me with more clarity on the background on why he couldn't inform me as I believe he changed roles after interviewing me. I appreciated the fact that he was so quick to respond. I wanted to make sure that this inadequate communication is avoided in the future for candidates applying to Dixon Carphone as it's distressing to have to be in a position where you are seeking alternative employment in the first place with out going through the torment I experienced of not being acknowledged after numerous attempts of contact and setting the expectations and not living up to it.

I contacted the poole business several times to open a business account, impossible, I did not have any follow-up to my request, so I raise more than 10 reminders by mail, still nothing, I have contacted by cat, a disaster, the gaps were noted. This company is not serious, it does not allow any professional to open an account or have a manager in direct contact, Today, I still have not had the opportunity to open an account, this situation lasts for several, the solution would be to fire this staff of this dismal service, on which the staff turns thumbs, several professionals did not manage to open a business account for the purchase of merchandise, Who do we have to do? Carphone is more of the fake advertising than anything else, believe me !!!
