The Co-operative Food

I popped in to see if there were any reductions this afternoon, & there were some good ones. When checking my receipt after leaving, I discovered I was overcharged by 5.85 for my 12 items. So, I had to return to the store & explain to the lady who had served me. A chap came to her aid & cleverly worked out the error (reductions on the receipts arent straight forward as in other shops?). I was refunded the amount overcharged BUT there was NO apology. If the Sainsburys where I live make a mistake, they rectify it, apologise, & compensate you for the inconvenience of going back It may be an idea to scan the reduced bar codes in the first place to save everyones time & embarrassment & me feeling a nuisance?

Hi folks, just to say, this Coop is just great, the staff are friendly and helpful. For me it has the adid advantage of having a post office and a cashpoint machine and it's not far from my home, so I walk there and back, on the way back its up hill, so I get a fare workout, not that that has anything to do with the shop, but for me, it's all part of the whole experience, thanx for reading my review :)
