I have been to Isobel's twice now as a Maid of Honour to 2 beautiful brides. Unfortunately both times have been very uncomfortable and unpleasant experiences. The first time was with a very petite bride, she was told "certain dresses will make you look short and child-like" and both members of staff there kept repeating how "tiny", "small" and "petite" she was and how much she's struggle to find a flattering dress. The second time was with a bride who is a size 14-16 (the average size in the UK is a 16) and they only had one dress she could try on which was hideous. They made my friend feel very uncomfortable pointing out "issues" in her body type, my friend then overheard them talking about her losing weight prior to her wedding. Absolutely appalling service, both friends left the shop in tears. Such a shame as most other reviews are so lovely but I've had 2 bad experiences with them now and want other people to be aware, especially those who may be self-conscious of their body type!

I hired a suit for myself and my 7 year old son and was so pleased all the way thru with how everyone treated me and my son. Loved how the suit fitted, cant recommend them enough
