If I knew just how much change was possible I would have done this much sooner, doctors treatment did nothing but this after just 2 sessions has made a 95% improvement to my tennis elbow

I have received acupuncture from Alice Rogers for peri menopausal symptoms including hair loss and the plethora of unpleasantness that also comes with this change. The result has been profound. I am so grateful for the outcome. The small bald patches on my head have grown back, my hair has thickened and my eyebrows have also reappeared. The hideous erratic cycle and heaviness of menopause has also completely normalised. No more details needed in a public forum apart from I couldn't recommend Alice more highly. I have been successfully treated by her before. She is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, and a really nice person.

I have been seeing Alice now for a little while now. What can I say apart from absolutely brilliant. I have gone from having no energy, fatigue and struggling to work after thyroid surgery to starting to exercise and run again. The day after my first session there was a noticeable difference. I've also had many comments on how different I am. Alice is very supportive and encouraging, she totally understood my needs from the first initial appointment. I can not recommend Alice enough, she has literally changed my life, I feel absolutely amazing and ready to take on whatever the world throws at me.

After moving to Poole, I wished to carry on my Acupuncture Appointments and chose The Dorset Acupuncture Centre, My practitioner is a lady called Alice , although I have also been treated by Alan. I have been very impressed by their practice premises, it is warm and welcoming, and the very highest in clinical hygiene. The standard of professionalism is as good as any I have received in over 30 years of treatment. There is much to the art of Acupuncture, those who have not tried this ancient and proven alternative to medical treatment should. It is more than just the application of the very finest needle to proven points of the epidermis to treat, not just physical, but life's stresses and traumas. You get more than treatment, you get understanding of your needs, after a thorough question and answer session, that is not intrusive. Unlike the time you get to resolve issues when you visit your poor overworked time restrictive GP. Everything is covered, most importantly, before treatment is given, there are no preconceived reasons why you have attended on the day. Your treatment is geared to the situation you are feeling on the day, not what you were there for the last time you were seen. Everything about your visit, is about you, and the calming atmosphere of the treatment room all adds to a calming effect on diagnosing your medical problems and preparing you for the correct treatment. I go to Acupuncture for the whole experience, the tranquillity, the treatment and the long term improvement of my general wellbeing. Acupuncture is just the tip of a vast iceberg that is the ancient art of Chinese Medicine. Alice and Alan are both professionally qualified and trained in many of the ancient arts of Chinese Medicine. They offer so much more than what you get from a GP's Surgery. I am not casting aspersions on our NHS, many excellent GP's and Medical Professionals send patients to acupuncturists. But if you want the personal touch, and you want, time, understanding, and quality of inexpensive wellbeing, look no further than Dorset Acupuncture Centre, I have known many who are sceptical, and once they have tried it, have never looked back. There are fraudsters out there, so beware, the ones who declare they can cure cancer and stop your leg falling off, are the ones to avoid. Real professionals like Alice and Alan, and so many others who have treated me, will insist you see a GP if they feel your medical problems need medical attention. They will not take your money (very reasonable rates) if they do not believe they can treat your illness/medical problems. Honesty and integrity is at the heart of their practice. I really can not articulate how very different and positive experience visiting Dorset Acupuncture Centre can be, all I can do is highly recommend it with total sincerity.
