The Friendly Accountants

TFA offered a great service for a fair price. Like many crypto gainers, I was at a loss to undertsand how to correctly submit a tax return for HMRC, even using software like koinly. However the guidance and indeed willingness to answer questions in relation to all of my tax affairs has given me the confidence to use their services now, and moving forward.

I went to TFA as they advertised themselves as crypto accountants. While I found some of Richards advice and background knowledge of crypto to be helpful, I would see it a stretch to consider them crypto 'accountants' (rather than consultants), as I perceived there to be some resistance to delving into the minutiae of certain unclear transactions provided by a Koinly report. I ended up having to pay 450 for a Koinly 'expert service' which did exactly what I had hoped TFA would do. They certainly are friendly and responsive, but didnt fully meet my needs per se.

So good, I'm reviewing them twice! Which I rarely do, but its also rare to actually find a decent accountants. Ppl moan a lot as it is, so its good to give credit where it is well and truly earnt and due. I needed three things... - Crypto support - Leaving the uk (non resident planning) - An accountant I could trust to get it done Im a neat freak at times when it comes to having affairs in order and Im fed up of chasing accountants. TFA chase you! No joke. Joanne's auto emails to file taxes and then get them sent back are AMAZING. They're whole system and use of tech is brill, so rare to see an accountants doing it this way because as a whole the industry is SOO OLD along with their practises. But not TFA. Always there on email when you need, reply same or next day. And you can book a call that to the point if email doesn't solve it. No waffle. No wasting time (mine or theirs). But i think the main thing is I actually trust them. And after 20 years in business and multiple accountants I genuinely mean that. Thanks Richard and team.

I've been working with TFA for a year and they've provided me with excellent guidance and help throughout the process. I really enjoy how quickly and efficiently they respond to inquiries and their knowledge of cryptocurrency payments and investments.
