I wanted CIC Hearing aids, and a representative, Andy visited me at my home, did hearing tests and said my tests showed moderate hearing loss and I would be suitable for CIC aids, he then took moulds and I placed an order with him and he said it would take about two weeks for them to arrive. Andy rang me to say they were in and made an appointment to fit them, unluckily the day before the appointment, I was whisked into hospital with pneumonia so had to cancel the appointment. Regrettably whilst in hospital I contracted Covid and the drugs they gave me almost destroyed my kidneys, I was extremely ill and was in the hospital for two months, unable to walk, I pleaded with the doctors to let me go home, reluctantly they discharged me, I was still ill at home and it took several months to feel a little bit better, but to this day I still cant walk. Needing the hearing aids I rang Bloom to ask if they would still honour my order. I was told Andy had left, and they said a Jonathan would call, he came on the 20th October, 2022 I was expecting him to carry on with my order, but he said he needed to take new tests and moulds, when they arrived on 15th November 2022 I was horrified to find the aids were not CIC but full shell which were totally visible. I told him they were not what I had ordered and I wanted CIC but he said my hearing loss was not suitable, even though I had tests done by another company that confirmed my hearing loss was moderate. I couldn't understand why Jonathan came to that decision. I sent an email to the head office asking if they would honour my original order, I received this email back on the 20th of December 2022:- Good morning Mrs Jackson, I have asked Jonathan to contact you again as there isnt anything I can personally do further to help with this one. Please expect a phone call from him this week. All the best, James Bicknell Customer Care Consultant To date I have not had a phone call even though it said this week. extremely disappointed
Whilst I see most people rate this company I must say I am extremely disappointed with the experience I have had with them.
