Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists - Pontefract

Bayfields deliver the Low Vision service provided by WMDC and it is managed, in particular, by staff member Elaine Houghton, whose kindness and helpfulness is quite beyond reproach. Her knowledge of the low vision aids available is considerable and she does her best to tailor the service to individual needs. She is determined to provide the best possible support for her visually impaired clients. The rest of the staff are equally helpful and supportive. It is a pleasure to meet such committed, dedicated and professional people.

Very nice people to deal with offered hot drinks whilst waiting, waiting time was short dealt with within a couple of minutes test well explained nothing to much trouble for the people in the shop thank you ian

Shocking prices my daughter @17 years old was charged 44 for an eye test, apparently at 17 they class you as an adult, which is so wrong on any level, the average eye test in pontefract is around 20 yet these are over double and at 17 and an apprentice she only earns that each week. Just not right and i would not recommend as it seems a complete rip off and taking advantage

was coming here for years when it was mr yager (who was all about the customer). Sad to say since the Bayfield bunch took over, the customer isn't even considered in their quest for the dollar, exploiting them is the new service offered

I carnt thank bayfields enough for the care me and my son recieved this morning, Emma and Lynsey were absolutely fantastic, the optometrist mandeep was very thorough and the care we both recieved was amazing! Everything was explained correctly and in complete detail, as a customer I feel it's your own responsibility to get your eyes checked, and keep your eye health in check with regular visits to the opticians as with all things do change with age, and I do feel so strongly about this as sight is such a precious gift to us and I'm happy to pay what ever the fee is to preserve my vision, never once did I feel unwelcome, I felt right at home and the experience was certainly a relaxing and refreshing one, I would say it's one of the best opticians I've visited, and I highly recommend them, Thankyou ladies for all your help today :)
